Indoor Holiday Sale, 4103 Gallatin St., Saturday, Dec. 8,
9-3, with loads of antiques, quality books, collectibles, Holiday decorations,
vintage jewelry, antique furniture, and yard sale stuff. Antiques include
Chinese porcelain, Chinese cloisonné, brass sextant, hand painted tile top
table with ornate iron base, small marble top table, oak framed mirror, large
Asian necklace with carved coral and other stones in unusual face, other
antique jewelry, cobalt glass bottle with gilt decoration, collection of vintage
book ends, child's chalk board and easel with ABC panel with farm animals,
chair with spindles and original red paint, pine splat back chair, oriental
carpet, Japanese child's hand painted tea set with pine branches and pine cones
in lustre, leather bound books, and more. Collectibles include McCoy flower
pot, Stangl Deco vase, Deco green planter, Mid-Century Modern clock, lots of
vintage sterling and costume jewelry, vintage linens, vintage mink jacket,
large oval basket with lid, vintage holiday cards, Mid-Century Modern table
lamp, thousands of books, vintage Christmas decorations, etc. Miscellaneous
includes two heavy brass Stiffel lamps, one ornate, one plain; rabbit soup
tureen with ladle; household; clothing; children's books, and much, much more.
Sale is in Hyattsville's Historic District with multiple families and several
artists (painter, floral arranger, musician, author), and an online book store
open to the public for the day. Tea and coffee served to ward off any chill.
