As an aside, I notice that Waverly has just posted on Town Announce a 
meeting of the:

The working session of the Town Council is also, I have found, a good 
time and place to voice your opinion. I seem to get verbal and/or email 
response to any issue I raise if not answered at the time.

But sadly, I am often the only one there. People do drop by for a few 
minutes if they want to put up a fence or want some other permit.

Yes Sue it is a shame there are those that feel it necessary to reply 
offline to comments made on this form. I have received some myself. If 
the writer does not feel that their comments are worthy of public airing 
and will not further the public discourse, then who am I to disagree? ;) 
It is a sad commentary though isn't it?
