Declaration of Independence Signing & Ice Cream Tasting
Join your neighbors in celebrating the July 4th way – by signing the Declaration of Independence!  We will be on the lawn of the Bladensburg Library
near where the Battle of Bladensburg happened in 1814, reading the Declaration
of Independence at 12:35 with our elected officials and local residents.  Those who join us can sign our copy of the
Declaration after the reading and our young guests can get a scoop of “Star Spangled
Explosion” ice cream (strawberry with red, white, and blue sprinkles with a
chocolate cannonball)!

available across the street.  The library
is closed for the holiday, so no facilities will be available.  The Library is located at 4820 Annapolis Road, Bladensburg, MD.
