Hello Adelphi Pool.



Just got the word that our July pro-rated rates will be available
today!  Know a family that wants to join the pool…$366 plus $56 for
the maintenance fee!  Would everyone be so kind as to send this to
your lists and email contacts?  Sure would appreciate it!  Please
email me back and let me know where you are posting.  Thanks!



--our last membership drive brought in over 15 new families….so our
membership is now just at 300 families.  Have room for a few more.

The Adelphi Swimming Pool is a private, member-owned pool located in
the town of Adelphi, Maryland. Our members come from the surrounding
towns of Adelphi, Beltsville, University Park, Takoma Park,
Hyattsville, College Park, and Langley Park. Surrounded by trees and
open spaces, the pool facilities are among the best in the area. We
have a 50 meter Olympic size pool with multiple lap lanes, an 11-foot
deep diving well, a slide, and a separate 30' x 30' fenced-in wading
pool and play area for our youngest members.

The pool has a bath house with locker rooms, showers, and a snack bar.
The bathhouse is fully handicap accessible and has eight showers in
the women's locker room and five in the men's locker room. The pool
also has plenty of places to sit and relax or enjoy a picnic lunch --
choose shade or sun! On the hill overlooking the pool is a shaded
picnic area where families can enjoy food from home or cook out on one
of the pool's grills. The pool offers free swimming lessons at the
beginning of the season for your little ones, a swim team for the
older kids, and water aerobics for those of us needing a little more
exercise. The pool also offers volleyball, ping pong, badminton, and
horseshoes. One unique feature of our pool is its long hours 10:30am
until 9:30 pm and Monday through Saturday and Sunday noon to 9:30.

Special weekend and evening activities are often planned.

On family, teen, and pre-teen nights, rafts are allowed in the pool
and there are games to entertain all ages.
