Subject: Prince George's County High School Commencements

TO:  University of Maryland Community

FROM: Patrick Perfetto, Director, Conferences and Visitor Services

Once again, several Prince George's County high schools will be
holding commencement ceremonies at Comcast Center. The ceremonies will
take place Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 1.  We are pleased to
host these very special events in the lives of our neighboring high
school graduates and their families.

Please note, there will be some inconvenience for members of our
campus community who will be traveling to and from the campus each of
the affected days.  Parking for the commencements will be in surface
lots surrounding Comcast Center. Traffic will be heaviest at the
Campus Drive/Route One, and Paint Branch Drive/Route 193
intersections.  Incoming traffic prior to each ceremony, and departing
traffic following each ceremony, will be particularly heavy.  If
possible for you to do so, we advise scheduling your arrivals and
departures so as not to coincide with these events and/or use of less
traveled routes.  Listen to 103.5 WTOP for the most current traffic
information.

For additional information about these events, go to:
http://www.cvs.umd.edu/eparticipants/PGCC.html

The schedule is as follows:

May 29, 2012  - Suitland High School, 9:00 a.m.

May 29, 2012 - Eleanor Roosevelt High School, 1:30 p.m.

May 30, 2012 - Charles Herbert Flowers High School, 9:00 a.m.

May 30, 2012 - Bowie High School, 1:30 p.m.

May 31, 2012 - Parkdale High School, 9:00 a.m.

May 31, 2012 - Northwest High School, 1:30 p.m.

June 1, 2012 - Dr. Henry Wise High School, 9:00 a.m.

June 1, 2012 - Laurel High School, 1:30 p.m.
