Peggy,

Very often I drive along that section of 48th between 11am and 1pm, and
this looks worse than usual (I didn't drive there yesterday) - I suspect
that's because of the new signs at the parking lot north of the field.  As
Mayor Archer said in an earlier post, the Town has complained about this
and the signs are going to be changed back.

That being said, there are no parking restrictions on 48th Avenue.  The
4700 block of Tuckerman, alongside the field, is permit parking on the
south side and no parking on the north side, and it is that block where
warnings and/or tickets are to be issued.  Because 48th Avenue has no
restrictions, there is no legal basis to issue warnings or tickets. The
residents with property on 48th have not asked for parking restrictions.
 If you are having problems with parking in front of your house, and want
parking restrictions, please feel free to contact me.
