[RP TownTalk] Queensbury/Route 1 frustration

I'm so sorry Jen. It's really upsetting to have another driver treat you
that way when you are obeying the law!

That intersection has been a problem since my husband and I moved here
nearly 18 years ago. At least there's a light there now. Imagine turning
left if you didn't have a light there! It was impossible.

So now we have a light. We have marking in the intersection that says "Do
Not Block" (or something like that). And it's still a problem.

To be honest, I avoid turning left from that intersection at all costs.

I either take East West Highway, and wait through three cycles of the light
there to turn left (but at least no one is crazy when they are behind me
there.)

Or I follow Rhode Island Ave south from Queensbury, onto Cleveland Ave,
around Dupont Circle Minor, and out to a quick right then left at the light
at Madison and Baltimore Ave. That light (at Madison and Baltimore Ave) is
*crazy* long, but it's another way to get onto Baltimore.
