[RP TownTalk] Riverdale Road Park

Recently, there was a post from Mr. Holmes referencing the challenges with parking near the Town Hall.  I wanted to share with everyone especially new residents a project which the town has been working on to improve the playground at Riverdale Elementary, enhance play space in general, and create additional parking for teachers, visitors, and when the school is not in session visitors to town hall.  The proposal is below. Thanks to the work of the town, especially Sara Imhulse, the town will be receiving a grant for 1/5 of the costs of this project in a month.  Meetings over the next few months with key partners--PGCPS and MNCPPC--will hopefully fulfill some of the additional expenses.  There is lots more work to be done on this project, but I credit the town with moving an idea closer to implementation which will benefit the school, our kids, and our whole community.
