Thanks SO much for the update; I only saw the dog twice, looked like a nice little fella.  If he was sensitive to touch, it COULD be that at some point in his life he'd been abused?  I'd love to think he's ok and could get a good home. I'd also like to thank everyone for caring - shows how people can pull together when someone (human or animal) is in need.

 I just ran into PG Animal Control in
 the Amtrak parking lot.  They were
 finally able to catch the black dog.  Apparently a
 control officer has been
 coming out all week but they weren't able to catch him.
 Today he brought a
 colleague with him and she was able to catch him.  She
 said that he didn't
 seem mean just scared out of his mind and sensitive to the
 touch so he may
 have been injured.  They will evaluate him and put him
 up for adoption if he
 is deemed ok to adopt.  She said that he will be listed
 as a spaniel mix.
 
 Thank you to all the kind people out there who tried to help
 this poor
 fellow. It's nice knowing you are out there.
