[RP TownTalk] CAFRITZ trucks on Route 1 and through Town Center

Greetings, everyone.

The construction update quoted here was circulated by the developer to the
Towns of Riverdale Park and University Park. For those who may not be
aware, Maryland Avenue is the street formerly known as Rhode Island Avenue,
which runs next to the MARC stop and then under the Route 410 bridge.

"Construction Update Notice: Weeks of March 24 and March 31, 2014


"What to Expect On-Site the Next Two Weeks:


"During the next two weeks of construction, the contractor, L.F. Jennings,
will continue installing erosion and sediment control fencing and ponds,
installing perimeter fencing, begin site clearing on the west end of the
site and begin removal and haul-off of excess soil.


"These activities will require heavy equipment accessing the site. Two
construction entrances are located along Route 1 located near both ends of
the project site and one entrance at Maryland Avenue.


"Lane Closures:


"There are no anticipated lane closures associated with this work.


"Construction Hours:


"Construction Activity will be taking place Monday - Saturday between the
hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m."
