[RP TownTalk] Proposed 7-11 at Route 1/Sheridan St.

There is an application to replace the Emergency Dental at the intersection
of Sheridan St. and Route 1 (Baltimore Ave.) with a 7-11.  This is a
residential area with a day-car center next door and there is already one
7-11 less than one-half mile away.  The high-volume, vehicular-based nature
of 7-11 shoppers would result in a significant number of negative effects
(e.g., more traffic, taking business away from established areas (RP town
center), lighted signage, more trash, etc.).



Please come to the meeting on and speak up about your opinion on a proposed
7-11 at this location (which is less than one-half mile from the 7-11 at
6034 Baltimore Ave.).  Meeting is on Wednesday, November 5t h at 7:30 p.m.
at Riverdale Park Town Hall (5008 Queensbury Road, across the street from
Riverdale Elementary School).
