[RP TownTalk] anybody hearing gun shots tonight?

Little late on this one; however, a few weeks back, I heard what sounded like shots and when I peeked out the window, I saw fireworks shooting into the sky; I live next to the railroad tracks, they appeared to be off to the west, but fairly close by.  Didn't know if they were sanctioned fireworks or not?

They must be nearer to our house, because from here they most definitely sound like fireworks (with the tell-tale after-fizzle noise).

just heard a couple now (going on midnight) and heard several of what i think is the same noise earlier this evening.  could be something else, though didn't sound like fireworks to me, nor did it sound like vehicle noises.  hard to tell direction but it sounded fairly close (we're near Dumm's Pizza on Riverdale Rd).
