warm and toasty at our indoor location this week.

tomorrow with fresh shittake, oyster, lions mane and crimini mushrooms.
Stop by and check us out we will be there rain or shine!
Feature News:
Maryland Market Money is back for SNAP & WIC-FVC @ $4 per week due to the
overwhelming response of customers.

We are offering a new option for local businesspeople that complement our
food options. One local business per week will be offered a slot at the
farmers market to offer services and goods that the market doesn't offer
for $25 per week. We suggest once a month attendance. If you're interested,
please contact us.

Coming Atttractions: We are working on some more exciting projects for the
indoor market this year. We'll let you know when we have more info.

Winter Market is here! December 17 and WE ARE CLOSED Christmas Eve,
December 24 & New Year's Eve, December 31. We will run straight through
every Thursday from January 7 to March 24 indoors. This is barring blizzard
conditions, of course.

Riverdale Rooster is now in flux due to complications with the building
property owner.

Groff's Content Farm does a super job of raising pastured meats. Pick out
your favorite recipe and try some this weekend. They also have some
delightful raw milk cheeses for your enjoyment. They are also offering
Christmas goose.

Growers: Groff's Content Farm - Pastured meats & eggs, ECO City Farm,
Musachio Produce (first time past Thanksgiving!); Cats Paw Organic ; King's
Mushrooms; Blades Orchard's apple season is upon us. We welcome back Peachy
Family Dairy to our first indoor farmers market of the Winter season. They
will have their usual goat cheeses, pies, jams, and jellies.

Tasty Treats: El Taco Loco, Dimitri Olive Oil, Zeke's Coffee of DC, Sweet
Tease Bakery.
You won't see at market this week: Jack Creek Plants and Red Chimney Farm
are finished for the rest of the year due to early frost. We hope to see
them in the Spring. Mystic Water Soap will make their last appearance of
the year @ the Holiday Market on the 12th. Geppetto Catering and The
Verandah are on hiatus until Spring.

Entertainers: TBD music this week.
Kid fun: Back to crayon drawings!!

Important Notices:
Food safety notice: Due to a preponderance of evidence and our county's
health department regulations, dogs are no longer welcome at the farmers
market. We regret the loss but hope that our dog owning customers will
forgive us for this change.
Important note about parking: only parallel parking is allowed on Maryland
Ave (the road that passes under East-West Highway) -- please do not park in
any other manner.

Got ideas for improvements? Talk to or email Jim Coleman and share your
thoughts! We can do it: change begins in Riverdale Park! Bring Your Own Bag!
