NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY COUNCIL INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN A PUBLIC
HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ADOPTED COLLEGE PARK-RIVERDALE PARK
TRANSIT DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission has transmitted
an Adopted College Park - Riverdale Park Transit District Development Plan
to the County Council, sitting as the District Council, for a public
hearing and final action. The adopted transit district development plan
(TDDP) area encompasses approximately 290 acres of land located in the
northwestern portion of Prince George's County along and east ofthe
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Metro Green Line. The
transit district area is bounded by the historic communities ofOld Town
College Park and Calvert Hills to the west, Riverdale Park to the south,
the Anacostia River Stream Valley Park to the east, and College Park
Airport to the north.

On October 21, 2014, the District Council passed Council Resolution
CR-98-2014, which contains 11 proposed amendments to the adopted TDDP. The
District Council also directed that an additional public hearing be held to
receive public testimony on these proposed amendments.

PUBLIC HEARING DATE: Tuesday, January 13,2015

PUBLIC HEARING TIME: 4:00 p.m.
Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. for participants to view exhibits.
Planning staff will be available to answer questions.

PURPOSE OF PUBLIC HEARING: To give all interested persons the opportunity
to express their views concerning the preliminary transit district
development plan and transit district overlay zoning map amendment. The
purpose of this hearing is to give all interested persons the opportunity
to express their views on the amendments proposed by the District Council,
as well as other aspects of the adopted Transit District Development Plan
and endorsed TDOZMA. These amendments are identified in CR-98-2014 and in
the following document:
