> Please be aware that tonight we experienced a 12-inch WSSC water main break under Route 1 near Van Buren St on the east side. The water has been shut-off.

> Please expect delays tomorrow in this area. I understand northbound lanes will be closed until at least the afternoon. The center lane will be used for traffic. Several homes as well as the road and construction site are affected. 
> 
> Details are still being shared, but I wanted to give a special thanks to all who are onsite to resolve/assist and who are working through the night--WSSC, University Park Police and Public Works, County Emergency Management, Riverdale Park Police, and Cafritz construction team. 
> 
> We have had several water main breaks in the past few weeks in this area. Please report to WSSC immediately. WSSC will evaluate,  but is triageing response based on severity.  Their emergency number is 301-206-4002.
