*INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE RPAC BOARD OF DIRECTORS?*

The Riverdale Park Arts Council (RPAC) is seeking people interested
in serving on the 2015 - 2016 Board of Directors. Candidates
should have a background in the arts (i.e. music, literature, art) and
be willing to attend monthly meetings that are held at 7 p.m. every
second Tuesday of the month (except July, November or December).

The elections for the 2015 - 2016 RPAC Board will be held on Tuesday, July
7, 2015,
from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Riverdale Park Town Hall located at 5008 Queensbury
Road in Riverdale
Park, MD.

*RPAC ANNOUNCES GENERAL MEMBERSHIP & BOARD ELECTIONS*
*TUESDAY, JULY 7 @ RIVERDALE PARK TOWN HALL*

The RPAC Board of Directors will conduct its annual general
membership meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 7,2015 at the Riverdale
Park Town Hall located at 5008 Queensbury Road in Riverdale Park, Md.

Elections will be held to select the the 2015 - 2016 Board. The
current board, by majority vote, expanded next year's board membership
from nine to 12 members. It is the current Board's desire that
potential candidates from eastern Riverdale Park Wards 4, 5 and 6 will apply
since those wards have no representation.

This year's arts related presentation will be given by
Catherine Kapikian who served as artist-in-residence at Wesley
Theological Seminary at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
Ms. Kapikiatz is the founder emeritus of the Henry Luce III Center for
the Arts and Religion (LCAR) and noted writer and lecturer. She has a
slide presentation ready to go. To see more about her, check her
