[RP TownTalk] Community Altar for the Departed - Altar para la Comunidad para el Día del Muerto (Riverdale

What a great idea!  Don't think I can make it to bring stuff up THIS year, but will try to make it next year, if you do another ofrenda.  Will it be on display this weekend, or?   I do my own ofrenda in my apartment; if you want to get the pan de muerto (dead bread), they usually have it at Flor de Puebla bakery next to Rinaldi Bowling Alley.  
(Wish we had a holiday in THIS country to honor the departed!)

Community Altar for the Departedin honor of All Saints Day & Day of the Dead at Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation
You are invited to remember your deceased family, friends, and ancestors in a community altar.  Interested persons may submit framed or unframed photos, offerings, and decorations, which will then be arranged by a local artist, Alison Spain.  Community members are encouraged to share their own traditions and ways of honoring the dead.  Everyone is welcome!
If you would like to participate, please drop off your photos and offerings to Alison at her home or the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation.  Please label the back of your items with your name and phone number.  Although the utmost care will be taken, please do not contribute priceless or irreplaceable items.  Photocopies are suggested for special photographs.

para honrar el Día del Muerto y Día de Todos los Santos en la Fundación Archie Edwards de Blues Heritage
Invitamos a los miembros de la comunidad para honrar y recordar a sus amigos, familiares, y antepasados difuntos en un altar para la comunidad. Se pueden traer fotos, ofrendas, y adornos, que luego serán arreglados en un altar por la artista local Alison Spain.
