Prince George's County to Host 2nd annual Green Summit

 Summit looks at the County's progress toward sustainable goals and its
environmental future 

LARGO, MD - Following the success of last year's event, the Prince George's
County Department of the Environment (DoE) will host the 2nd annual Green
Summit on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center
located on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park.  The free
event will include six concurrent sessions, three interactive workshops,
vendors and 30 leading speakers discussing strategies to help keep Prince
George's healthy, beautiful and sustainable. Approximately 300 guests are
expected to attend including elected officials, business owners,
non-profits, students and residents of the County.

The event is made possible through the generous support of Corvias
Solutions, Maryland Environmental Service and La Prima Food Group, Inc.

Free parking is available on Lot 1 and Lot Z on a first-come, first-serve
basis. Additional parking is available at the garage adjacent to the Samuel
Riggs IV Alumni Center for a fee of $15 for the day or $3 per hour.
