[RP TownTalk] Celebrate Trees & Clean-Up Event this Saturday!

Riverdale Park Residents and other Interested Families/Students:


Looking to help beautify our community for Earth Month?  Please bring the whole family and join us this Saturday for a     Tree Celebration and Clean-Up event at Riverside Neighborhood Park (near Taylor Road & Nicholson Street).

The event will include:

  *   park adoption ceremony by DeMatha High School (about 9 am)
  *   tree plantings
  *   invasive removal
  *   litter clean-up
  *   nature walk (around 11 am)
  *   snacks and drinks

Students attending can earn up to 3 hours of service learning credits.

Please dress appropriately; equipment will be provided.
