With nearby availability of a number of organic food stores and virtually
every regular grocer also having an organic line of products, there is much
to be consternated by when shopping for organic milk products.
I just stumbled across this published rating (5 cows down to 0 cows) of
organic dairy products by Cornucopia Institute, and thought others might
also be interested.
Pleasant surprise for me was seeing Whole Foods' 360 brand in the same
4-cow category with MOMs, Trickling Springs, Organic Valley and Stonyfield.
Not at all surprising to find Horizon in bottom group (zero cows). Giant,
Safeway, Costco (Kirkland) brands are in the 1 cow group.
