[RP TownTalk] SUNDAY! Having Difficult Conversations about Race Workshop

 TFW someone makes a comment or snide remark and you have the choice to let
it go or engage in a difficult conversation. What do you do next? Join
Showing Up for Racial Justice Green Line for a workshop led by LJ
Solidarity, a local, black owned business, where you will learn techniques
to navigate those moments and how engage in difficult conversation topics
while remaining assertive, empathetic and calm.   Through games,
role-playing and observation, participants will practice these conversation
techniques and develop a personalized communication plan to take with them
through their everyday lives.


When:  Sun, February 25, 2018 5:30-8:30pm
Where: Hyattsville Municipal Building:  4310 Gallatin St, Hyattsville, MD

Cost:  $20 tickets for this event can be purchased at the link below. A
meal will be provided. If you are unable to afford the fee, need additional
accommodations, such as transportation assistance, ie, childcare, allergy

The Hyattsville Municipal Building is ADA compliant and has a parking lot,
street parking (free on Sundays), and is located near a number of bus stops
which serve the West Hyattsville and PG Plaza Metro stations, along with
