*Description: *We love our bees!  Please join us for Watershed Wednesday
Happy Hour where bee expert, Jason Martin, will talk to us about the basic
biology and ecology of the native bees in this area. He will also discuss
some conservation techniques that people can implement in their yards to
attract and help those bees thrive.

Jason has Master’s Degree in biology from Towson University. His academic
work and research has focused on insects including bees, termites, and
benthic macroinvertebrates. He volunteered during my undergraduate years at
the USGS Native Bee Inventory and Monitoring Lab, and currently works as
the Environmental Coordinator for the City of Greenbelt.

We are delighted to be back at New Deal Cafe!  Thank you so much for
hosting us once more.
