Hello neighbors!Abel Olivo from CKAR again. Spring is here and I see tree blossoms everywhere. I wanted to share some information for FREE trees - up to three! If you sign up this first week of April, we can have you on track to have your tree(s) planted by Earth Day 2018. We have a variety of small, medium, and large native trees to choose from - WE EVEN PLANT THEM FOR YOU. Almost forgot, we also have a few that are more shrub like that are great for screening and soaking up water in wet spots. Visit the CKAR website at www.ckarcdc.org/trees for more information.If you live in the designated areas (click on link to see areas) and are a homeowner, you can have up to three FREE trees professionally planted in your yard.This tree canopy expansion project is made possible by a grant from the Prince George's County Dept of Environment and the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
