You can call PG County's Animal Control, which serves Riverdale Park
(301-780-7200).

My experience has been that the staff are wonderful and kind.
Unfortunately, since they cover the entire county, the animal may have
moved on by the time they arrive. However, it doesn't hurt to call them.

Posting on Towntalk is also great, since sometimes a neighbor will
recognize the description and alert the owner.
