*RIVERDALE PARK BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MEETING WEDNESDAY, April 10, 2019 @ 6
pm ET AT TOWN HALL*



RPBA members, returning members and guests are invited to *Riverdale Park
Town Hall, 5008 Queensbury Road, Riverdale Park, MD 20737*for the
association’s monthly general meeting. This is an opportunity for small
businesses in the greater Riverdale area to gather with established
business owners, new business operators, town and county officials, banking
leaders, and to learn news and get information about our business
community *before
anyone else does*.



On Wednesday evening President *Pete Spiropoulos *will talk about his
dealings with Prince George’s fire inspections of rental properties. A
recent effort by the county to step-up its enforcement of fire regulations
even on grandfathered properties has alarmed property owners and could cost
them thousands, or even worse, force them out of business. But RPBA Vice
President *Michael Herman, Esq*. suspects the county’s closer look
potential hazards could be a case of the county doing a better job after
decades of lax performance. Expect a fiery discussion!



The Town of Riverdale Park’s *Kevin Simpson*, director of the Office of
Development Services, will detail the launching of the Town’s Spring
Forward Grant Program (April 3rd), Economic Development Week (May 6th – 11th),
and the new Brick Fundraising Campaign for Town Center Clock.



 Also, come to the April 10 meeting and win a gift certificate to the new,
exciting establishment the RPBA will meet on Wednesday, May 8!
