This message comes from a friend in University Park. All are welcome.

Friends,

Our next second Saturday lecture will take place at the University Park
Church of the Brethren at 4413 Tuckerman Street this Saturday at 5 PM
sharp. There is ample off street Parking near by.

A Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances for 2010 found that
households of people 65 and older had approximately 1/3 of the wealth of
the United States. As a result seniors are targeted for Identity
Theft/Identity Fraud schemes designed to take away their money. In fact,
one in twenty seniors in the U.S. is a target of fraud or identity theft
schemes. The purpose of the Senior Fraud Prevention training is to educate
people about Identity Theft/Identity Fraud. Identity Theft/Identity Fraud
are crimes in which someone wrongfully obtains and uses another person's
personal identification information in some scheme that involves fraud or
deception, for economic gain. At the end of this training, participants
will have a better understanding on how to protect themselves and prevent
Identity Theft/Identity Fraud. Det. David Calloway (Seat Pleasant Police
Department) will be the primary presenter with assistance provided by Cpl.
Shameka Graddy.

For more information contact University Park Police Chief Baker at
upchief at upmd.org 301-277-0051 or Dave Brosch davidcbrosch at comcast.net
