* Thursday, Oct. 3, 7-10 pm:  Yarnia October is here and it's time to start knitting!  Open to anyone who likes to knit, craft, draw, and relax.  All ability levels, friendly company, and delicious mead.  New Yarnians welcomed with open yarns :)
* Friday, Oct. 4, 7-10 pm:  Swing Set!Dana Grabiner and Joe Atkin’s band, Swing Set will once again grace the Meadworks stage with their original songs of love and hate. Fans of the Wild Anacostias won't want to miss this performance that includes Dana and Joe’s son, Sam Atkins, on drums, and Pete ("I Build Stuff") McEvoy on keys. Featuring lyrics and vocals by Dana, the group keeps their music percolating with steady swing grooves. Bonus set by "Mystery Guest." Come out and show some love for these pillars of the Gateway music community. Kid-friendly. Free event.

* Saturday, October 5th, 12-6 pm:  College Park Day
 Maryland Meadworks will be serving our luscious libations during the 10th annual College Park Day again this year.  Over the past decade, College Park Day has grown to become one of the best annual events on the Route 1 corridor for families. Organized by the city and held on the grounds of the College Park Aviation Museum, the free, six-hour festival includes activities for kids of all ages as well as lots of live music.
* Saturday, October 5th, 7-10 pm:  Chris Presley & the Mobtown Cats
Classic Rock & Roll at the Meadworks!  Join us in welcoming former Elvis impersonator and Baltimore rocker Chris Presley & his band The Mobtown Cats for a Saturday evening filled with your favorite classic tunes, including hits from Elvis (of course), Johnny Cash, the Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, and the Rolling Stones.  Free event.
* Sunday, October 6th, 9am-4 pm:  Hyattsville Cyclocross
We are excited to be providing mead at this year's HYCX bike race in Magruder Park on Sunday!  This off-road bicycle race, sponsored by Route 1 Velo Cycling Team, will go through Magruder Park and Woods and will benefit the Prince George’s County Special Olympics.
