Let me explain what is included in these figures.

The $8,600 includes all Crier expenses of printing, bulk mailing, and editing
for this fiscal year (including the costs for the Farmer Market ads).

However, the FM ads have their own line item in the budget.
If Chapter 3 of the Town Code were followed, a transfer of approx. $1,600 would
be made between line items, making the Crier Budget expenditures $7,000.

This $7,000 covers 4 issues, or $1,750 per issue - well under the $2,100 budget per issue.

There has been talk of not following Chapter 3, and instead transferring only $750.
In this case, the Crier Budget expenditures would be $7,850 for this fiscal year,
or about $2,000 per issue, still under budget.
