HOUSING NEEDED: Would you like to get to know an interesting person  
from another country? Do you want to refresh your Spanish, French,  
Portuguese, or Catalan conversational skills? A doctoral candidate  
from Spain is seeking a living arrangement near the University of  
Maryland.

Mature and experienced as a home owner in her country of origin, and  
with limited financial resources here in USA, Isa needs a spacious  
spare room or a small apartment ASAP with internet connection and  
some space for books. Housing must be within walking distance of  
public transportation and shopping. A quiet and well-lit space in a  
non-smoking environment will help Isa to finish her dissertation by  
May 2007. In exchange, she will help to care for your home, pets and  
garden when you are away on business or personal trips or on  
weekends. She can pay for utilities and modest rent if you do not  
plan to travel during the year.

Isa has a driver's license and knows how to operate both automatic  
and manual cars, and is willing to shop or take on small errands for  
you. She loves to cook healthy meals and doesn't mind sharing, but  
cannot assume the responsibility of cooking for a family on a daily  
basis.
