Long time ago another person mentioned something about stickers for residents.  They do it in other communities like Georgetown.
I would like Riverdale Park to become a gated community.  I am very disturbed how commuters INVADE our community.  I live on
Riverdale RD and I get more traffic than all of you!!

We need to take control!  University Park did it when they closed Queens Chapel.  Riverdale Park will be a more pleasant place to 
live without the commuters.

I haven't really gotten into this discussion much, as I am essentially a
pedestrian, but the time has come, once again.  I agree that the traffic on
410 is nightmarish.  However, to announce that those of us who live here and
pay taxes here don't have the right to protect the safety of our kids so
that folks using us as a cut-through are not inconvenienced, well that's
just enough to make me start typing again.  I would like to see Riverdale
Park become a gated community with passcodes for the residents and the rest
of creation can use 410 until something is done about it.  If that's not an
acceptable solution, perhaps a yoga class who's location doesn't require
zooming past my house may be in order.  Sorry to inconvenience you with our
children's safety. Now that I'm done representing the other extreme, I'll
quietly go back to reading my digest.
