My first love was the mansion & watching
it grow into a beautiful place..,.,. love the
historic district with all the pretty victorian
houses 
 
Love my doll shop & TC old tyme ambiance.
 
Love my own house & wish I was rich to 
restore it the way it deserves. Love the
big yards & people's gardens & the
many trees.
 
Love the proximity to everything I need
except G Street Fabrics is far away.
 
Love my friends who visited me when
I had my car accident & those who 
sent flowers,  delicious foods to help
us out.  We have very loving caring 
people who will help anybody at any
time. This makes life so special/treasured.
 
Used to love Leland Hospital for all
my kids catastrophes
 
Love the beautiful trees lining our streets
that turn gorgeous colors in fall
 
Love Gosling Pond - its pair of geese having
little ones each year.  Love our proud family
of deer (Mama, Papa & 2 youngsters)  walking
downt  the sidewalk in front the Riggs Bldg or
the 3 youngster deer nibbling on the grasses
in front the Riggs Bldg.with ears perked up
high watching the cars go by.  Love to see
the cranes, herons, geese fly over my house
to our little ponds/parks.
 
Love all the birds at my feeding station includ.
the hawks. Love to watch how the black birds
-crows etc will come to the smaller birds cries
for help when the hawk arrives & band together
to drive the hawk away so the smaller birds
can enjoy their food.
 
Love to see Mama possum carrying her 
babies, the thorn in my husbands side with
his garden Mr. Groundhog who also loves 
our acorns besides the garden.  Love my 
squirrels & their antics playing eating their
share at the feeders.  Love the rabbits & 
& rare sightings of fox - they are soooo fast.
And sometimes a beautiful snake curled 
up under my flowers doing his job of mouse
eating. So I smile & let it be to do its job.
Then it will leave.  
 
Just a few of my favorite things that 
brighten my days & make me thankful I
am alive & thank the Good Lord for all
of His Beauty.
 
I can hear the cars rushing 410 but in my
little world on Ravenswood, I can shut out the
hustle/bustle noises,( it is hard to shut out 
the trash on my daily walks though)
(but my husband picks up tons of  trash 
while walking our dog) - & just 
enjoy the good things surrounding me.
