That is the sort of vigilance that is needed in the town. Good move  
Adrianne. But the question arises. What jurisdiction is Riverside Park. Even if  the 
then-mayor had taken it to Parks and Rec. shouldn't we be doing that too?  They 
may take it even more serious if citizens take action and complain.

I still  have photographs I took about 4 years ago of the feces-soiled 
diapers, broken  glass and used condoms I used to routinely find in the riverside 
park.   And not in the garbage cans, mind you.  Strewn about the parking  lot.   
Showed them to the then-mayor and not much has happened  since.  It's kind of 
funny how I'm expected to clean up after my dogs  (which I do and always have 
since way before I ever moved here), but other  park goers are not expected
