Dear Neighbors seeking employment or a career change,

You may find this FREE employment workshop very helpful. Following is
excerpted from Prince George's County Government Office Of Human Resources
Management website. Excuse the length, but to ensure those who most need
the information will see it, I have printed the excerpt rather than using an
attachment. (Thank you for your patience).

The Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) sponsors Applicant
Employability Enhancement Initiative (AEEI) workshops on Monday nights from
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 1400 McCormick Drive, Largo, Maryland (next workshop
Monday, February 5). The workshop is designed to assist applicants in
securing public sector positions in Prince George's County. Further
information and registration is available on Office of Human Resources
Management, Applicant Employability Enhancement Initiative website
(http://www.goprincegeorgescounty.com/Government/AgencyIndex/Personnel/oplr.
asp), or by calling 301-883-6330.

Workshop will show you how to locate, identify, apply and qualify for
available employment opportunities not only with the Prince George's County
Government (PGCG), but also with other County institutions including
independent Boards and Authorities, Bi-County Commissions, the public school
system, the colleges and universities, the local cities and municipalities,
and the agencies shared with the State of Maryland.

Learn how to use the institutions' websites to find the positions that you
are seeking, and how to gain the advantage in securing these positions.
Trainers walk you through the nuts and bolts of the PGCG's employment
application process; critique your applications; scrutinize your resumes;
provide coaching in interviewing; and motivate you to "keep your head up and
press on" during the stresses and strains of looking for meaningful
employment.

Neighbors, don't forget to go online to register or call 301-883-6330 and
please share with your English-As-A-Second Language speaking neighbors.
Much Success!
Iris McLaurin-Southall
