Sarah,

301-927-4343 is both the emergency and non-emergency number for our  
police.
911is  the emergency number for Fire and EMS.

If you call 911 for police, they dump the call over to our  
dispatcher, once
they figure that the call is in RP.

If you call our dispatcher, and immediate police response is needed  
(e.g.,
shots fired), and our guys are not available,  they get back-up from  
our MOU
partners (Hyattsville, Greenbelt, Mt. Rainier, Bladensburg, Laurel)  
or the
county.
