Subject: [HOPE_in_Hyattsville] hit and run

                             If anyone sees a newer silver Saturn Vue SUV with front end damage
 including a missing grill and New Jersey tags that start with "LLC" or
 possibly "L1C" please contact me via e-mail or by phone (301 422-2047
 if you can get the rest of the tag number.  The person driving was a
 young white male (possibly a student)who left the accident scene after
 initially pulling over.  Those on the scene think he may have taken
 off when he realized he hit a pregnant lady and panicked.  Thankfully,
 my wife appears to be OK.  
 The accident occured on Rt. 1 South in College Park just before the
 exit for MD 193 at around 11:30 am.  Again, if anyone sees this car
 and can get a full tag number please contact me as I would like to
 have this person held responsible for his actions.  Also, if anyone
 knows of a College Park or other area list serves, please forward.
