Hi friends and neighbors,

{Please note this is the serious me, not my sometimes less than reverent
alter-ego}

As some of you know I spend some of my time in Colorado. Although not
relevant to the rest of this posting, I spend time there supporting my
89 year old uncle and ante. He is on oxygen and she had a pacemaker
installed last November. They are the last of their generation in our
family. Assisting them is not a full time effort when I am in Colorado,
so I am also involved with a non-profit there in Colorado. The effort is
taking more time than in the past which is why I am not at the polls for
the primary elections this year; The first election I have missed sense
moving to Riverdale Park. I just could not reasonably attend the
Election Judge training this summer. However, that is not my point.

Several times this summer, on this forum, it has been pointed out to the
world that I was in Colorado, ie _NOT_ in my home in Riverdale.

Now I have taken some precautions, have the yard cared for, informed
Chief Chambers and dog owners that I know walk by my house daily.

I am sure that it is just a laps in security judgment for someone to
post on the internet "Lou how is Colorado? (sense you are not in
Riverdale)". Not to suppose that anyone who regularly post here would
take advantage of the fact that a house was unoccupied, but I do not
know the other 100 or so voyeuristic people that are members of the
forum but do not post.

There have been enough stories about people posting their vacation plans
on social network sites and then having their homes broken into that I'm
sure you'll are aware.

Just a word to the wise and we should all respect the privacy of your
travel plans and security.

P.S. It does work when the COC takes his meds.
P.P.S. Please do not take the word "voyeuristic" in a derogatory way. I
mean to say "Observe but not actively participate."
