[RP TownTalk] new building project near Prince Georgs Plaza

Thanks for passing this on, Melissa.
 
The article tells us a lot about the complaints and worries, but almost
nothing about the project itself. Anybody know anything about it?  I
appreciate that others (ie, the people interviewed for the news story) know
about it and have come to the conclusion that it's a bad idea, but I need to
know a lot more before I will come to the same conclusion.

Regarding the proposed project behind Prince Georgs Plaza.

Ways this will affect Riverdale Park are
1. increased traffic
2.increased residents, people displaced from the Belcrest Apartments moving
to Riverdale Park.
3. Increased in problematic situation with ground water. That means our many
streams and the Paint Branch will be seriously and negatively affected. It
also means home owners located near water could sees long term problems
associated with this construction. That means it could negatively affect
home owner insurance and property values in Riverdale Park.
