TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) is definitely the way  to go and 
best left to a board certified veterinarian orthopedic surgeon.   If they 
have not suggested, please consider hydrotherapy post operatively, it's  very 
important. 
 
VOSM is the place to go, they are highly regarded.  Good luck on the  
surgery, and the sooner the better to reduce the likelihood of injuring the  
other knee with overcompensation.

Hi all,

Our beagle tore the ligament  in the knee of the  right rear leg. 

Surgery is suggested. What do any of you know   about VOSM Veterinary 
Orthopedic Group in  Annapolis.

The  procedure that is suggested is TPOL or TightRope CCL .

Has any one ever  used Dr. McMichael at Colle Park Vet. Hospital for 
orthopedic procedures and  would you reccomend him?
