[RP TownTalk] Redistricting/gambling

"If we were really interested in funding education, we'd be doing it already"  EXCELLENT point!  Education should be one of the top priorities, no matter what level of government we're talking about, or how the funds are obtained.  However, sad to say, it seems whenever there's cutbacks, it's always schools, emergency services, and libraries that are the first to feel the pinch.

While I know that our county doesn't exactly have a stellar record on
this point, I prefer to view it the way Lou does.

Regarding the point about education - I agree that the argument that
the funding will go to education is a red herring. The money will go
where the general assembly thinks it should go.

If we were really interested in funding education, we'd be doing it already.
