[RP TownTalk] TownTalk Digest, Vol 78, Issue 9

I would certainly hope that everyone would take this kind of humane
approach as a first step. I understand the concern if a dog "attacks," but
that happens in very rare instances. The number of snuggles from large dogs
VASTLY outnumber the number of attacks.

As the owner of a loving and completely docile pit mix, I would hope that
everyone can understand the bad rap that "bulkier" dogs get and not
immediately write them off as aggressive simply because of their breed. We
shouldn't tolerate discrimination among people or among animals -- and I'd
hate to think of Lucky getting out and being shipped off to animal
control...makes me teary-eyed to think of it.
