[RP TownTalk] Train horns

Just like to offer that the at grade elevation crossing is now identified as a quiet zone and if the conductors continue to sound horns during quiet hours, they are breaking the policy of D.O.T.
I moved here knowing the horns would sound and that was part of the deal however, once it is designated, the conductors should follow the rules just like everyone else should.

I do not agree with the horns stopping..  yes they are annoying, I used to live directly across from that intersection for a few years and understand.  however, that intersection is still one of the most dangerous intersections with pedestrians crossing when they shouldn't and just last Thursday yet another motorist got his car jacked up on the tracks.  train horns signal a train coming for a reason. Glad we are talking about the horns.  Count me as one who does care if they sound the horns. (  I love to be able to sleep with windows open at night, but the close-to-midnight train horn festival makes that very difficult...)Now that the quiet zone has been established, we have some grounds for asking them to stop.
