This is good. Get immigrants out of the shadows, let them be appreciated and acknowledged, let them get drivers licences, in-state tuition, and yes, let them vote.  This will continue to build a safe, supportive, and inclusive community.
All of our parents and/or ancestors were immigrants at one time.
