[RP TownTalk] Queensbury & Lafayette traffic

I don’t know what ‘s good for everyone on this matter but would really like
to see a redesign that simplifies the traffic pattern not trying to rework
the existing situation. I could see some of the suggestions without a
traffic light working in the near time while we’re working on a long term
solution.
I would definitely involve transportation experts(police, traffic
engineers) and creative thinkers (NDC & others) in the solution so we can
both increase access and safety in the area. Right now, it’s a mess that
doesn’t use its public space well at all. Perhaps, we could work it into a
town center redesign that also takes current work on the Calvert Memorial
Park into the overall plan. Vision (with lots of public input) drives the
work whether the whole is conceived together or as modular parts.

Just my 2 cents,
