[RP TownTalk] Consider Cafritz Carefully

Dear Neighbors,

Prompted by the Cafritz propsal, the people of the Route1 Coalition came
together to ask questions about the way we wanted our communities to grow.
Our initial outreach effort brought out 400 people in the middle of July
and we knew we were not alone in doubting the wisdom of the proposed
Cafritz Property development.

Since then the developer has drowned our part-time city and town council
members in a flood of constantly revised papers and plans. Now a December
15 Planning Board hearing has been set.

We urge you to become involved as the councils of Hyattsville, Riverdale
Park, University Park, and College Park decide whether to support this
project or not.

record, check the town's schedule of meetings, comment and grab addresses
to write to the planner, county officials, and Planning Board.
